Description:El Arenal vineyard, at an incredible 2,600 meters in the Upper Calchaquí Valley, takes its name from the Spanish word for sand, reflecting its rugged terroir. Here, the grapes are stressed by intense sunlight and cool nights. Sustainably farmed grapes and the magic of El Arenal produce an incredibly sophisticated tannin structure, resulting in a superb balance of fruit, freshness, power, complexity, and elegance that only extreme altitude can offer. This Malbec is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
